The Facts:
In front of 30 NFL teams and more than 50 scouts, Young took the first public step in his pro comeback with a good showing at Texas' pro day on Tuesday afternoon. Young threw around 50 passes to former UT receivers John Chiles and DeSean Hales, as well as Marquise Goodwin and the rest of Texas' draft-eligible receivers and tight ends. "I think he did extremely well," agent Jerry Marlatt said. "He showed his footwork and mechanics, and overall it was a very good day. He thought it went well. We received positive feedback from multiple teams."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The former Longhorns star did not weigh in, run a 40-yard dash or participate in any other drills. As he made his way through a mob of reporters while leaving Texas' indoor practice facility, Young declined any interviews, saying only that he had a good day. Young appeared to be in good physical shape and showed that the arm that helped make him the No. 3 overall pick in 2006 by the Titans hasn't lost much strength. Since being cut by the Buffalo Bills in the preseason last August, Young worked with QB coach George Whitfield Jr., who trained No. 1 picks Andrew Luck and Cam Newton, in October and got back to his playing weight of 225 pounds. ... No workouts have been scheduled with any NFL clubs, and those opportunities may not come for Young until after the NFL draft when minicamps begin. But Tuesday was about showing he's ready to help a team. We'll see if any of them are buying it.
