Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Davis, 27, is an athletic pass catching tight end who would add an intriguing option to Buffalo’s passing attack. However, he is also recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered last October. Rehabilitation typically takes 11 months to a year to make a full recovery. Davis however, has a much more optimistic outlook. “I feel good right now,” said Davis on Tuesday. “I’m only four and a half months out of my surgery and I’m already running and stuff so I already know what I’m going to be able to do this year. I will be back to 100 percent.” The Bills likely took their time in conducting the player physical with Davis in light of his major surgery. Buffalo is in need of a healthy tight end knowing they could be without starting tight end Scott Chandler come August after he underwent ACL knee surgery this offseason. He could possibly return in time for the regular season.
