The Cowboys and Armstrong have reached agreement on a contract, PFT’s Mike Florio reported Wednesday. Armstrong visited the Giants on Tuesday. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Armstrong, 30, appeared in six games last season — five with Miami and one with Dallas. He also had a stint with Jacksonville. Armstrong has shown some field-stretching ability in his NFL career, gaining 18.3 yards per catch. His best season was in 2010, when he caught 44 passes for 871 yards and three TDs with Washington.
