According to Boston Herald staffer Jeff Howe, Owens does want to keep playing in the NFL and has been in discussion with teams throughout the offseason, but there isn't anything going on with Owens and the Pats at this time. Owens was working out with Tom Brady on Wednesday at USC, so the parallel was drawn between the 39-year-old and the receiver-needy Patriots. For now, there's nothing. Don't expect that to change any time soon.
