According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Massaquoi received a two-year contract. USA Today's Mike Garafolo reported the Jaguars got the call of Houston because they offered more money. ... Massaquoi, 26, has played the last four seasons in Cleveland. In 2012, he caught 17 passes for 254 yards in nine games and dealt with hamstring and knee ailments. Injuries have been an issue for him in the last two seasons, and he had multiple concussions in his Cleveland career. As Profootballtalk.com suggested, however, if Massaquoi is healthy, he could improve the Jaguars’ wideout depth behind Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon. Massaquoi, who has made 43 starts, has gained 14.8 yards per catch since entering the NFL in 2009.
