The Jets held the right to match any offer sheet to the 25-year-old Cumberland, who was a restricted free agent. With Dustin Keller departing in free agency, the 6-4, 260-pound Cumberland could have a bigger role in the Jets’ passing game this season. The fourth-year pro finished second among Jets players in catches (29), receiving yards (359) and targets (53) in 2012, and his three TD catches tied for the team lead.
