Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Edelman had visited with the Giants recently, and spoke with several other teams during the free agent process. In the end, the wide receiver and punt returner chose to remain with the Pats. He will be at Gillette Stadium next week when the Pats begin their offseason program. Edelman ended the season on IR with a foot injury, which is now said to be fine. After letting Wes Welker move on as a free agent and releasing Brandon Lloyd, the Patriots have stocked up on wideouts, adding Danny Amendola, Donald Jones and Michael Jenkins. They've also
made an offer for restricted free agent Emmanuel Sanders. The Steelers have five days to decide whether to match the offer and keep Sanders. If not, Sanders will join Edelman and the rest as Tom Brady's wide receiving corps.
