Danario Alexander Expected To Be On Hand For Mini-Camp
(4/16 1:56 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Alexander hasn't signed his one-year tender yet. But he did sign a form this month that allows him to train at Chargers Park. The restricted free agent is among the players expected to be on the field Tuesday when the Chargers begin a three-day voluntary minicamp. He has participated in recent workouts after endorsing an offseason participation contract. Reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While Alexander's contract situation hasn't been resolved yet, it is expected to be soon. He has through Friday to sign an offer sheet with a different team. If he does, the Chargers have the right of first refusal, giving them five days to match the offer before he can sign with the interested club. If an offer sheet isn't signed before Saturday, no team can negotiate with Alexander. His tender is worth $1.323 million. San Diego would not receive draft compensation if he left.
