Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As MLive.com's Anwar Richardson noted, it appears unlikely - at this moment - that Best will play football again. Indeed, this is a non-news story. The real news would be if Best suddenly showed up working. But he's not. And he won't. Best has not been cleared to play football by doctors since sustaining a career-threatening concussion in 2011. He spent last season on the physically unable to perform list, and Detroit signed Reggie Bush in free agency to replace Best this offseason. It is very possible Best could spend the upcoming season on the PUP list again.
