According to Green Bay Press-Gazette staffer Rob Demovsky, the signing bonus was prorated over the first five years of the contract, meaning the bonus will count $7 million on the salary cap in each of those seasons. There is no proration in the final two years of the deal. The deal contains a total of $54 million in guaranteed money. Roster bonuses of $9.5 million each in 2014 and 2015 are part of the guaranteed money. Rodgers' salary-cap charge for this season is $12 million. Those numbers increase each year to the following: $17.9 million in 2014, $18.6 million in 2015, $19.6 million in 2016, $20.65 million in 2017, $20.9 million in 2018 and $21.1 million in 2019. Rodgers has relatively low base salaries early in the contract, but those jump to $19.8 million and $20 million in the last two years of the deal.
