The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... Just like GM Dave Caldwell did earlier this week, HC Gus Bradley threw his support behind Blackmon in the wake of his four-game suspension levied by the NFL on Tuesday. “I told Justin I do trust him,” Bradley told the Times-Union Thursday. “We both have to earn each other’s trust and I don’t want trust to be mistaken for being naïve.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Blackmon was disciplined without pay for violating the NFL’s Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse; he entered the program because of his aggravated DUI arrest last year in Oklahoma. Bradley said he has had “six or seven conversations,” with Blackmon since the league alerted the team and player of the ban. "He understands we’re disappointed in what took place,” Bradley said. “I really try to maintain my focus on making sure he has a clear vision of what we expect from him. We’ve had great conversations since this came out. ...” But as Times-Union staffer Ryan O'Halloran notes, what has gone unspoken among the Jaguars is that Blackmon is one false test from being suspended for an entire year. It has to be a concern.
