The Facts:
The four-time Pro Bowler has agreed to terms on a three year, $15 million dollar deal that all but ensures that he will retire as a Ram. Under terms of the contract, Bruce will receive $6 million in the first year of the deal, which was $1 million more than any of the several proposals made by the Rams. "At the end of the day, he just wanted to stay in St. Louis," said Bruce’s agent, Jimmy Sexton. "And he wanted to stay all along."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Following his release, Bruce was quickly courted by more than a half-dozen NFL teams: Carolina, Detroit, Houston, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Washington, and most recently, Miami. There were unconfirmed reports that Bruce was contemplating a visit to Tampa Bay this weekend. Still, Bruce wanted to exhaust all opportunities to stay with the Rams before making any trips.
