The Facts:
McNabb confirmed Monday on his radio show on NBC Sports Radio that he will be retiring as an Eagle in September. He said the team has suggested doing it on the 19th when Andy Reid, the man who selected him with the second overall pick in the 1999 draft, will be there.

McNabb spent 11 seasons with the Eagles, compiling a 92-49-1 record as a starter. He led the team to six division titles, five NFC Championship Game appearances and one Super Bowl. He holds every significant club passing record, including most passing yards (32,873), touchdown passes (216), completions (2801) and attempts (4746). McNabb was traded to the Washington Redskins on Easter Sunday 2010. He spent one season with the Redskins, then was traded to the Minnesota Vikings, where he started six games in 2011 before getting benched. He did not play last year.
