The Facts:
Although initial reports indicated it could be pushed out further, the NFL free-agent signing period will begin 12:01 a.m. ET on Saturday, March 11 -- or shortly after midnight tonight. The salary cap is $102.0 million per club, $7.5 million more than would have been the case without a new CBA.
