The Facts:
Bowe hasn’t lost his trademark bravado. He made some bold predictions Wednesday as the Chiefs continued their offseason program. “(Jamaal Charles) is going to lead the league in rushing this year,” he said, “and I’m going to lead the league in receptions and touchdowns. When we get in full gear and pads and close to the season, it’s going to be a show to watch.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It would appear that Bowe, who recently proclaimed himself a "top-5 receiver," expects to benefit from the offense installed by Andy Reid and run by Alex Smith. And that Charles is going to find a lot of success running behind an offensive line that has added Eric Fisher at right tackle. As Profootballtalk.com's Josh Alper suggests, there’s a good chance that winds up as an overly optimistic prediction. That said, Bowe has every reason to be excited about the changes to the offense in Kansas City this season. Smith is the best QB he’s played with in the NFL and Bowe should be an excellent fit in Reid’s scheme. Excellent enough to lead the NFL in catches and TDs? We suppose it's possible. Fortunately, nobody will have to draft him as such.
