Jason Campbell Looking To Make A Push
(5/18 1:48 PT)

The Facts:
No one is laying a glove on anyone, but it is hard not to notice Campbell. We've popped in from the first segment of full-squad spring practice. The first thing we noticed when we were outside was Campbell's Roethlisberger-like size. He's clearly bigger than Brandon Weeden. He made Thaddeus Lewis look like a shrimp. Reported by the Canton Repository

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
And even though Weeden is clearly the No. 1 at this point, Repository staffer Steve Doerschuk advised readers that Campbell definitely had better sessions than Weeden. Doerschuk conceded it might have something to do with the fact Campbell is a ninth-year pro who was working against a No. 2 defense. Still, the newcomer whistled a couple of deep strikes to speedster Travis Benjamin, anticipating where Benjamin would be, making sure the ball arrived when Benjamin was most open. Another time, Campbell showed an excellent fastball on a 25-yard bullet that hit Jordan Norwood in a perfect spot in front of second-year pro Trevin Wade. ... Bottom line? Campbell doesn't look like a guy willing to settle for the No. 2 spot without a serious battle. We'll be watching for more.
