In advance of the team returning to the field for another OTA this morning, the Seahawks announce they have waived/injured McCoy and signed tackle Jake Bscherer.

The team said Friday that McCoy would be out up to nine months after suffering an Achilles tendon injury last week. According to Times staffer Bob Condotta, there’s a good chance McCoy remains with the Seahawks, assuming he is not claimed off waivers.
