Is the reigning NFL MVP back to lifting the same weight he was before the injury? "More," Peterson said on Wednesday, grinning after the Minnesota Vikings' first open session of organized team activity practices. "I'm pretty much 100 percent," Peterson said. "Me knowing my body, I would like to be a little stronger in some areas. But I'm feeling great."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
His rehabilitation was "a cakewalk" compared to last year's recovery from a torn left anterior cruciate ligament, Peterson said, and his participation in practice confirmed his progress. According to 1500ESPN.com's Tom Pelissero, the Vikings let him complete every drill, including letting him carry the ball in 11-on-11 and 9-on-7 drills. Peterson said he "definitely earned a lot more respect for your abdominal muscles" and has been ramping up his weight training after initially gearing exercises to reduce pressure on the area. ... Meanwhile, it might be worth noting that receiver Greg Jennings was a surprise scratch for Wednesday's practice because of an ankle injury suffered a day earlier, in a session closed to reporters. "His ankle's a little bit sore," HC Leslie Frazier said. "But he'll be fine. Nothing serious. He's on the side working with (head athletic trainer) Eric Sugarman. ..." Stay tuned. We'll undoubtedly be hearing more about both men in before all is said and done.
