Hakeem Nicks Still A No Show At OTAs; Coughlin Still Disappointed
(5/30 12:15 PT)

The Facts:
Give Giants HC Tom Coughlin credit for consistency. He still doesn’t mind flaunting the notion that voluntary OTAs are anything other than mandatory. Via Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post, Coughlin was asked again today if he was disappointed in the absence of wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, and replied: “Certainly I am.” Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Coughlin also said that Nicks “at one point” told him he’d show up, but then offered no explanation for his absence. In case you missed it, initial reports suggested Nicks' absence was contract-related. His agent subsequently denied those reports. But as PFT's Darin Gantt suggests, the absence is clearly about something. "And," Gantt added, "the longer it goes, the more complicated it gets. And Coughlin clearly isn’t happy about it. ..." Stay tuned.
