Cowboys Sign Veteran TE Dante Rosario
(6/3 5:13 PT)

The Facts:
The Cowboys released tight end Paul Freedman on Monday, replacing him with journeyman tight end Rosario. Reported by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Rosario, a fifth-round pick of the Panthers in 2007, has played for four NFL teams, most recently the Chargers last season when he played in 13 games with two starts. He has 99 career catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns in 91 career games, including 26 starts. Rosario also can play H-back and special teams. The Cowboys drafted tight end Gavin Escobar in the second round of the recent NFL Draft. They also have Jason Witten and James Hanna slated to be among at least three tight ends they carry on the 53-player roster. But Dallas could choose to carry four. The Cowboys are expected to play more two tight end sets this season.
