Reggie Bush Expects Lions To Have League's Top Offense
(6/4 12:30 PT)

The Facts:
Bush continues to play the role of hype man for the Detroit Lions offense. Last month, Bush compared the Lions' scheme to the attack run by the explosive New Orleans Saints offenses that Bush was part of last decade. Now Bush has taken things a step further. "Honestly, I believe there's no excuse for us not to have the No. 1-ranked offense. We have all the right pieces and the necessary players here to be the top offense in the league," Bush said. "No excuse." Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bush went on to explain, "Getting to know my teammates, I'm not finding anything I didn't already know or expect. [Matthew] Stafford -- he's great. He has a really strong arm. He seems like a very good leader. Seems like he has all the intangibles that you need in your quarterback. Calvin Johnson's a beast. Nate Burleson's another guy that's a vet and seems like a leader and a hard worker. Again, another good player. ..." It's a good point. And it's not a reach. The Lions were a top five offense in each of the last two seasons. Adding Bush to the backfield has the potential to lift the offense both on the ground and through the air -- especially if Bush makes good on HC Jim Schwartz's belief he could catch 60-80 passes this year.
