Maurice Jones-Drew's Conditioning Still A Concern
(6/5 5:54 PT)

The Facts:
Jones-Drew's road back from season-ending Lisfranc surgery remains a work in progress. Before leaving the team to work out on his own in Miami, he entered the team's offseason conditioning program out of shape. "It sounds like he's making good progress and that his weight is coming down," HC Gus Bradley told the Associated Press on Tuesday. "It feels like the workouts are going good down there." Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones-Drew told NFL Network he began jogging "lightly" in April, and hoped to be full speed "probably the end of May, beginning of June." He acknowledged last month that he toiled through last season closer to 217 after a nasty contract dispute with the Jaguars. As NFL.com's Marc Sessler notes, the Jags will have a first-hand look at their starting back at next week's mandatory three-day mini-camp. Jaguars officials also probably will want to chat about the details of a bar fight in May, in which MJD allegedly struck a security guard in St. Augustine, Fla. ... Stay tuned.
