Danny Amendola Getting In Sync With Brady
(6/7 12:8 PT)

The Facts:
Amendola can feel the progress. ... The Pats’ three weeks of organized team activities close tomorrow, but the initial spurt of drills that allow the offense to practice against the defense have allowed some trends to materialize. The chemistry between Amendola and Tom Brady has been one of the most noticeable developments. “We’re trying to get the most work we can in,” Amendola said. “It’s still early. Just trying to go from there and try to be the best we can be in the given time that we have.”  Reported by the Boston Herald

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Herald staffer Jeff Howe, it’s looked easy at times, and the offense has reached its highest level of consistency at practice when Brady has zeroed in on the middle of the field, and thus, Amendola. Last week, Brady applauded Amendola for his work ethic, so their rapport hasn’t appeared out of thin air. Howe went on to note the acclimation with the new outside receivers hasn’t been as smooth. Michael Jenkins, Donald Jones, Lavelle Hawkins and Aaron Dobson have flashed, but they haven’t achieved the same level of consistency as Amendola. Meanwhile, the Patriots close their offseason program next week with minicamp before breaking until training camp opens in late July. That’s when chemistry translates to production, and Amendola is ready to roll. “It feels pretty good,” he said. “I’m ready to get the pads on. I’m ready to run around and start hitting people.”
