Frazier Impressed With Kyle Rudolph's Progress
(6/10 11:15 PT)

The Facts:
A lot of young Vikings have shown up at the team's OTAs, but no player has flashed more than Rudolph. More than any other Vikings pass catcher, Rudolph seems to be on the same page with the QBs, particularly Christian Ponder. Whether running a deep seam route or running a hot route to improvise while defenders bring the heat, Rudolph is there to stretch the defense or salvage a play. “I try not to get too far ahead of myself, but the Kyle Rudolph that I see now is so much more confident and surer of himself than the Kyle I saw a year ago at this time,” HC Leslie Frazier said. “It’s like night and day to me, personally." Reported by Vikings.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
When Percy Harvin went down with injury last season, Rudolph became the No. 1 option in the Vikings' passing attack, and he should remain one of Ponder's favorite targets. After many a fantasy owner drafted Rudolph as a potential breakout candidate in 2012, the addition of wideouts Greg Jennings and Cordarrelle Patterson (not to mention the ongoing presence of Adrian Peterson) will make it harder for opponents to focus on stopping the TE. Draft as a low-end starter or high-end backup (or as a flex in fantasy leagues that allow it).
