There were reports last week that Nicks would be fined for each day of mandatory mini-camp he missed, starting today. Apparently, Nicks got the message. According to USA Today's Mike Garafolo, a source said "he intends to be present for all three days of mini-camp." Newsday's Tom Rock tweeted yesterday that Eli Manning had "exchanged texts" with Nicks and expected him at camp. And now he's there. ... There's no sign yet of fellow wideout Victor Cruz, who has yet to sign a contract.
