The Bengals have lost their first unrestricted free agent. Schobel will sign with the Philadelphia Eagles, a source told the Enquirer this afternoon. Terms of the new deal with the Eagles were not yet available.

His departure leaves the team with Reggie Kelley and Tony Stewart at tight end. Schobel, who line up as an H-back on a regular basis, had 90 receptions, nine for touchdowns, during his four seasons as a Bengal. The Texans had also expressed interest in the veteran tight end.
