The two sides actually
reached an agreement late last month, but because Nedney signed a one-year contract for the minimum base salary of $655,000 in 2005, he had to wait until the start of the new league year to make it official. Nedney hit 26-of-28 field-goal attempts and 19-of-19 PAT attempts for a team-leading 97 points last year.
