The Facts:
Asked by a readers how Richardson coming along in his rehab from the pulled leg muscle and whether she thinks the second-year RB will be ready for training camp, Plain Dealer staffer Mary Kay Cabot replied: "Richardson has begun his running program, as scheduled, at home in Pensacola, Fla., so he’s still on track for camp. But the Browns will err on the side of caution and do whatever it takes to get him to the season healthy. If he’s somewhat limited early on in camp, it wouldn’t be the worst decision."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In case you missed it, there was a report early last month indicating the Browns would
shut Richardson down through training camp due to the injury. But HC Rob Chudzinski refuted that and said he expected Richardson to be ready for the first day of camp. Richardson echoed Chudzinski’s characterization that sitting the former first-round pick down during OTAs and mini-camps as being “precautionary” rather than because Richardson was physically unable to do football activities and said that no one from the Browns has told him that he’ll be on the sidelines for the start of training camp. Based on Cabot's reply above, it sounds like the Browns' version of this story is looking good.
