The Facts:
Gronkowski has shed the cast and brace from his surgically-repaired left arm, and he appeared to be moving around find today despite
undergoing back surgery last month. Of course, Gronkowski was merely roaming around a book store, which doesn't exactly boast the same type of climate as a football field, but it was at the very least a sign of progress. Gronkowski didn't appear to be wearing a back brace underneath his T-shirt, either. "I can tell you this," Gronkowski said. "I'm in great spirits. I'm enjoying life a lot more. I can tell you that right there."

Gronkowski was at a Boston-area book store to sign copies of his new book, "Growing Up Gronk." The tight end was asked about the
arrests of Aaron Hernandez and Alfonzo Dennard, as well as the health of his back, to which Gronkowski replied, "No reaction at all. I'm just here about the book." When asked if the NFL has a problem with off-field conduct, Gronkowski replied, "Ask Roger Goodell. ..." Although he's not saying much, the fact Gronk is out and about -- and sans cast -- is worth noting. Still, fantasy owners shouldn't read too much into any perceived signs of progress until training camp opens. Then we'll get a better feel for where the star tight end stands.
