The Buccaneers on Wednesday announced that Williams, the fourth-year wide receiver, has signed a new six-year contract that runs through the 2018 season. The contract is worth $40.25 million.

Williams’ 23 touchdowns since 2010 are the most by any Tampa Bay player after three seasons in the league. Williams ranked 16th in the NFL last year with 15.8 yards per reception.
