In case you missed it, Harvin was placed on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp Thursday after an MRI revealed what's reported to be a minor tear of the labrum in Harvin's hip. According to multiple reports, it’s an injury that could require surgery and leave Seattle without one of their major offseason acquisitions for a lengthy period of time. “We need to get more information right now,” HC Pete Carroll said on Thursday. “We don’t know enough right now. We will just have to wait and see. The good part is it’s really early. We have a long time to get him ready. …We have to be really diligent about the process right now. ...” Stay tuned. We'll be following this one closely. In the meantime, those with imminent drafts should be aware the average recovery time for hip surgery can be nine to 16 weeks. Nonetheless, it might be worth exploring other options -- at least until after next Tuesday.
