Putzier, the tight end the Texans want, was not available to come to Houston because his wife recently had a baby. It is no secret that coach Gary Kubiak, offensive coordinator Troy Calhoun and tight ends coach Brian Pariani -- all of whom coached Putzier in Denver -- would like to add him to the roster.
