The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item. ... Bryant missed a fourth consecutive day of practice Tuesday because of quad/hip issue but the Cowboys remain unconcerned, particularly owner Jerry Jones.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones said Bryant could practice if necessary but the Cowboys are letting him take it easy because of the impressive show he put on the first week of camp. He also says there is no reason to think that Bryant won’t play in the preseason opener against the Dolphins Sunday. “He can take it easy right now,” Jones said. “We got a lot of days left. He is likely to get snaps (against the Dolphins)…very likely. There has been no talk of him not getting snaps. It’s not a hip. It’s just a tweak. He could be out there in a minute. We are just resting it. There has not been a word of him not playing. ...” We tend to agree with Jones and NFL.com's Kevin Patra on this one. "Given that Bryant played much of last season with a broken finger and still put up more than 1,300 yards, the early 'tweaks,' aren't that big of a deal this early in camp," Patra wrote. "Getting him a few snaps Sunday in game action -- especially if Tony Romo ends up playing -- will be sufficient to dispel any rust from skipping some practice sessions. ..." We'll see soon enough.
