Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Gabbert was 3-of-5 passing in 11-on-11. He completed a nice throw to receiver Cecil Shorts 20 yards downfield. However, Shorts was stripped by safety Dwight Lowery and safety Chris Prosinski recovered the ball, returning it 40 yards for a score. HC Gus Bradley praised Gabbert for returning to live action. "He's good," Bradley said. "For him, in his situation to come in, we wanted to see how he would do in practice. Talking it over with [head athletic trainer] Mike [Ryan], he went that live session. I think that shows great courage on his part to go in there. He's competing his tail off. That's what took place. ..." Gabbert is battling Chad Henne for the starting job.
