For the first week of training camp, he has been taking it easy with a foot issue -- an injury that has lingered since the last day of OTAs during the offseason. Yet on Wednesday, he surprised media when he emerged from the locker room with his knee all wrapped up, as well, according to multiple reports.

Miller was the Seahawks’ third-leading receiver last season with 396 yards and three touchdowns, and was a huge factor as the top receiver in Seattle’s divisional playoff loss to Atlanta in January. By the end of the season, he became one of the favorite targets of quarterback Russell Wilson. The 27-year-old former Pro Bowler is a big piece of the Seahawks’ offense as a receiver and blocker, and is even more important now that wide receiver Percy Harvin
will be out for most of the season after hip surgery. Also out is last year’s second-string tight end, Anthony McCoy, whom the Seahawks waived in May after he had surgery on a torn Achilles. The good news? HC Pete Carroll isn't concerned about Miller missing any regular-season games. Also, Miller's absence is giving Luke Willson, who was selected in the fifth round of April’s NFL Draft, and Sean McGrath, who spent most of last season on the practice squad, more reps. ...
