Samkon Gado's Knee Feeling Good
(3/12 4:26 PT)

The Facts:
Gado said he's recovered from the knee injury that ended his rookie season with two weeks to go. He sprained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee. "My knee is 105 percent. It's a non-issue," Gado said. "It was a partial tear and I had to be careful for three, six weeks, but by the time I was home, I was fine. I can make cuts on it without it bothering me at all." Reported by PackerNews.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
With the recently re-signed Ahman Green well ahead of schedule on his rehab from a torn thigh tendon, it looks like Gado, who was able to run at full speed (without cutting) since the week after he was hurt, will open the season as a backup. Still, nothing is guaranteed in terms of Green's return, so the situation bears watching.
