Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Worth noting, Arizona Republic staffer Kent Somers advised his twitter followers that Williams was on crutches today after having "some kind of treatment." Remember, Williams suffered a serious injury to his right knee in the 2011 preseason and didn’t play a regular-season down as a rookie. He missed most of the 2012 regular season after a shoulder injury (which he suggested after the fact might have been the best thing because he still wasn't confident in the knee). ... But now, after participating in the early stages of training camp, the knee is once again an issue. It's a worry (even more so than it might otherwise be with Rashard Mendenhall
dealing with knee tendinitis). Of course, the worries diminish greatly if Williams is back on the field next week. Stay tuned.
