On Saturday, HC Doug Marrone described Kolb, who injured his knee while slipping on a rubber mat on the way to the practice field, as “day to day.” Sunday isn’t the day Kolb will return. While Marrone said the injury isn’t significant, PFT's Mike Florio notes that every injury that causes a player to miss practice time can become significant, because it can give the other guy competing for the job greater opportunities to take it.
