The Eagles announced Tuesday that Benn suffered a torn ACL in his left knee while serving as a blocker on a kickoff drill during Tuesday's practice.

Benn was acquired, along with a seventh round pick, from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March in exchange for a 2013 sixth-round pick and a conditional 2014 draft pick. He injured the same knee during the first full team practice on July 27 and had just returned to action on Sunday, August 4.
