Ravens Agree To Terms With Mike Anderson
(3/12 7:37 PT)

The Facts:
The Ravens agreed in principle Sunday night on a four-year deal with Anderson, who expects to take over for Jamal Lewis as the team's starting running back. The total worth of the deal is believed to be $8 million with a $2 million signing bonus.  Reported by the Baltimore Sun

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While Lewis could remain a Raven, that seems less likely with each passing day. Meanwhile, the 32-year old Anderson was named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2000 -- ahead of Lewis, when he gained 1,487 yards and scored 15 touchdowns. His numbers declined from 2001 to 2003, when he averaged 440 yards with Denver. He missed the entire 2004 season with a groin injury but rebounded last year, finishing with 1,014 yards rushing and 12 TDs.
