The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... The news isn’t great on Bell, but it’s not as bad as it could have been. Following the reports that Bell suffered a Lisfranc injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Bell is expected to miss six weeks. Jason La Canfora of CBS put Bell’s recovery time at six to eight weeks.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
If that is indeed Bell’s recovery time, the Steelers wouldn’t exactly be happy about it, but it could be worse: The Lisfranc injury that Bell suffered can cause players to miss much longer than eight weeks. And Schefter suggests the team is still awaiting further medical opinion. It seems like they aren't expecting surgery but it's not clear if it's been ruled out. Whatever the case, the Steelers will open the season with Bell on the sideline and Isaac Redman, Jonathan Dwyer and LaRod Stephens-Howling as their running backs (subscribers can hit our
