Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Dr. James Andrews, the doctor who performed the surgery on Griffin’s torn ACL, met with Griffin today and gave him the go-ahead to play in the Monday night opener against the Eagles. Griffin and Andrews have been saying all along that he is making excellent progress in his recovery from a major knee injury, and he has been expected for months to be on the field when the regular season started. But until today, we didn’t have official confirmation from Griffin himself. Now we have the official word: Griffin is ready to go.
