The Facts:
The Patriots may not be out of the running for Givens after all. The team and agent Brad Blank have spoken the last two days and discussed the general parameters of a contract that would keep Givens in New England, though they've yet to exchange detailed proposals. "They're certainly interested," Blank said. "They've always got a chance. They're the team that drafted him."

Others are interested, too. A day after visiting the Dolphins, Givens spent Sunday with the Texans, where he reportedly turned down a five-year, $18 million offer before boarding a plane for Nashville, where he will meet today with the Titans. Givens has no further visits scheduled after today, though San Diego is interested in meeting him.
