The Saints and Dolphins are battling for the services of arguably the top-rated free-agent QB on the market. But Brees wouldn't allow any high-pressure sales pitches rush his decision. "I'm evaluating all of my options and I want to make sure that I give everything the chance that it deserves," Brees said Sunday. "I'm really just taking in a lot of information right now. I'm not going to rush it because this is a big decision."

If Brees isn't signed, the Dolphins are likely to bring in Arizona's Josh McCown for a free-agent visit early this week. Also, disgruntled Viking Daunte Culpepper and Redskin Patrick Ramsey are still being shopped around the league. The Dolphins are believed to have interest in Culpepper if they don't land Brees.
