Dez Bryant Has A Sprained Foot
(9/9 2:58 PT)

The Facts:
Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports that Bryant has a sprained foot. Watkins adds that x-rays were negative, which is good news. An MRI would almost certainly be needed to rule out any structural injuries that could keep Bryant from being on the field in the coming weeks, so we’ll keep an eye out for more information. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Late in Sunday night’s victory over the Giants, Bryant caught a third-down pass short of the markers and was wrestled down almost immediately by New York safety Ryan Mundy to force a punt. After the play, Bryant stayed down with what looked like a left foot injury and looked upset when cameras caught him on the sideline a short time later. Bryant was back on the field for the two-point conversion try after Brandon Carr iced the game with an interception return for a touchdown, but the foot injury didn’t just go away. Bryant only had four catches for 22 yards on Sunday night, but the attention paid to him in the form of almost constant double-teams opened up the field for Miles Austin and Jason Witten. Cleary, losing Bryant for any extended period of time would take that away from the Cowboys offense as well as Bryant’s own ability to make plays in the passing game. ... We'll be watching for more.
