The Facts:
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Amendola is almost certain to be ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Jets because of the groin injury he suffered in the first half of Sunday's 23-21 win over the Buffalo Bills, according to a source informed of his injury.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The fifth-year pass-catcher left the field against Buffalo before returning to lineup, but Amendola wasn't present at the Patriots' walkthrough Tuesday. Until he returns, it's a significant loss for New England's young offense. Amendola hauled in 10 catches for 104 yards in a gutsy showing against the Bills. Fourteen of Tom Brady's 52 pass attempts were aimed at the wideout, including a critical 10-yard completion on the game's winning drive. Kenbrell Thompkins also saw 14 targets from Brady, but the rookie hauled in just four of them. Amendola was the difference-maker Sunday. Toss in running back Shane Vereen's wrist surgery, Zach Sudfeld's nagging hammy and the waiting game around Rob Gronkowski, and these Patriots are one banged-up bunch.
