The Facts:
Jacobs is re-signing with the Giants after what was described as a great workout this afternoon. Mike Garafolo of FOXSports was the first to report Jacobs and the Giants had come to terms.
Reported by the Bergen County Record
Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Giants worked out several players, including running back Willis McGahee and Jacobs, both of whom are viewed as veterans who could come in and immediately add presence and experience to the backfield. ... According to Record staffer Art Stapleton, David Wilson will likely remain the starter for the Giants, even after his two-fumble performance and subsequent benching in Sunday’s season opening loss to the Cowboys. Jacobs left the Giants following the 2011 season as a free agent and signed with the 49ers, but was injured in the preseason and only carried five times for seven yards prior to being released. Jacobs, 31, was always a respected teammate in his previous seven seasons with the Giants.
