Perhaps signaling some concern over the team's three first-round wide receivers, and also that new OC Mike Martz will want to make some alterations, the Lions on Monday signed Bradford. The eight-year veteran signed a four-year, $7.4 million contract that included a $2 million signing bonus.

Bradford, 30, has never caught more than 45 passes in a season. But he is a deep threat who has averaged 15.6 yards over the course of his career. He has also averaged a touchdown catch every 8.0 receptions. He began his career with the Green Bay Packers as a fifth-round choice in 1998, and then signed with the Texans as a free agent in 2002.
