Maurice Jones-Drew Could Play This Week
(9/16 3:51 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Jones-Drew has a left ankle “strain,” HC Gus Bradley said at his Monday press conference, according to John Oehser of Jaguars.com. According to Oehser and the club’s Twitter feed, Bradley indicated Jones-Drew could play in Sunday’s game at Seattle. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones-Drew rushed for 27 yards on 10 carries in the Week 2 loss at Oakland before leaving the game with the ankle injury. While the Jaguars haven’t ruled out Jones-Drew, they may be without quarterback Blaine Gabbert (lacerated hand) for another week. According to the Jaguars’ Twitter feed, Bradley said Gabbert wasn’t expected to play. If Gabbert cannot play, Chad Henne will get another start. He completed 25-of-38 passes for 243 yards with one touchdown in Jacksonville’s 19-9 loss at Oakland on Sunday.
