The Facts:
The Browns pulled off a big trade on Wednesday afternoon, sending running back Trent Richardson to the Colts in exchange for a 2014 first-round pick. With Richardson gone, the Browns have an open spot on their roster and a hole in their backfield. It looks like they’ll be filling both with McGahee.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Browns have announced that they are bringing McGahee in for a physical and will presumably be adding him to the roster if he passes. He’ll join Chris Ogbonnaya and Bobby Rainey on the depth chart at running back in Cleveland and he’ll likely wind up on the top of that depth chart if he’s healthy enough to fill that role. Doubts about McGahee’s health reportedly led them to release him this offseason. McGahee ran for 731 yards on 167 carries for the Broncos last season and scored four touchdowns.
